I found an article by James Patterson on CNN.com today. It's about a subject that is very near and dear to my heart..."How to get your kid to be a fanatic reader". Reading is such an important part of every day life, and I am very happy to say that my daughter is a "reading fanatic" and reads every day. You can read the article by clicking

I don't have children, but hope to soon. My oldest nephew loves to read, and I encourage him to read all the time. He loves coming to me with his recent reads.
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs.Q! My daughter and I are reading buddies. It's one of my favorite things we do together. Thanks for commenting!
ReplyDeleteI don't have kids (yet?), but one thing I worry about if/when I have them is that they won't be avid readers. I'll have to check out that article :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Erin! Helping my daughter learn to love reading has always been one of my most important goals in raising her because reading is such an important part of life. I think the key is to read, read, read to your kids. I've been reading to my daughter since I was pregnant with her.
